Trouble eating 25 weeks!
To make a long story short, Last Febrauray I had gastric bypass and then a revision done last May also. I found out I was pregnant in Oct and I am currently 25 weeks. I was just told im anemic in which they put me on extra iron. The problem is lately everything I am eating is causing me to feel sick and then all of the sudden very very tired. So tired I have to lay down and just take a quick nap to feel any relief. I will be going to the doctor and nutritionist tomorrow but wondered if anyone else is or has been experiencing this or what could be going on. Is it too many carbs in what im eating, too much sugar, in which I do fine with sugar? Can after a year of not having any dumping or overload on carbs, now affect me?
Sorry so many questions but I feel like I can not function.

I am in the same boat...25 weeks preg. Had gastric bypass in april 2010, 5 months later found out I was pregnant....Been sick since about three months out from surgery..Had hyperemesis with each pregnancy as well....this one is no different. Constantly nauseated, live on Zofran around the clock! I am anemic as well and low in Vit D3 and B12... cant seem to get vits down ever since surgery. Dont tolerate sugar well at all - only 10g of sugar at max! Hope things get better for you, just wanted to let y ou know your not alone in this!!

I am 30 weeks pregnant, but over 2 years post op RNY. I have been sick the entire pregnancy as well, sick after every meal and frequently tired as well. The Doctors suggest that the hormones of pregnancy are just making my body more sensitive to the effects of the RNY. I could eat pretty normally prior to the pregnancy. I know it contradicts everything that you've been doing and taught, but I actually found that small amounts of sugar or carbs by themselves would go down/stay down easier then anything else I was eating. Also there doesn't appear to be any consistency. I can eat something 10 times and only vomit 2 or 3 of the times. My family thinks I'm nuts for not eliminating a food after I vomit it, but I can't eliminate anything!
I hope you start to feel better soon. My vomiting has finally stopped, but the feeling sick and the tiredness is as bad as ever. I'm just counting down the weeks until it's gone!
