IVF after RNY?

Hello,
Haven't been here in forever. Will be 4 years post RNY in June. We are in the middle of an IVF cycle and I am wondering what other people's experiences have been with IVF following WLS. Infertility is male factor, no vas deferens, so we are doing the full Bravelle, Menopur, Lupron stimulation and he has undergone one TESE and will be having another one the day of ER. We will also be doing ICSI.  So, did WLS affect anyone's IVF journey? 

My partner and I are in the midst of AI.  But my OB wants us to only try for 3 cycles and if I don't have a viable pregnancy after 3 cycles she's going to send me to a fertility clinic for probable IVF. I got a bfp on the 1st cycle by MC'd.  Our 2nd round of AI is in 9 days.

So no, I have no experience w/IVF but wanted to wish you the very best!  Hope all goes well.  I know that IVF can get very expensive.  So really hoping you don't have to go through multiple IVF cycles.

Yes, IVF is expensive, and an emotional rollercoaster with all of the hormones injections and the waiting for the ovaries to "cook" the follicles  I also hope we only have to go through this once, we are really ready to add a little one to our family.
