23 Weeks and woke up cramping
Hi ladies,
Normally, I ride this stuff out and I don't really worry, especially since this is baby two.
But, this moring I woke up at three hand had two hours of pretty consistant cramping beginning in my cervix and radiating up through the left side of my belly with lots of back pain. They weren't contractions (well, not the kind I knew, anyway) and after a warm shower they seem to have gone away for the most part, some cramps here and there still. baby has been super active this morning, too ... I hate to sound like a freak and be so worried, but my first pregnancy was SO easy ... nothing like the second one! I have the kind of job where I can't just leave if I don't feel well, so I guess I am debating going in ... scared to be on my feet too much.
Have any of you felt like this, and what was your result?
I'll call the doctor when I can at nine and see what she says - that's still like three hours away.
Thanks for listening.

Sounds o.k. to me BUT the fact that it was enough to wake you up at it was consistant/hard cramping....IDK. I personally have not experienced it, but I would go with your gut instinct! You know your body! Maybe in the meantime try laying down on your left side and start drinking LOTS of fluids. Keep up updated....

I had severe cramps at 19,23,26 weeks. They were so intense I thought something was horribly wrong went in for a check up he said all was well he believes I'm having bad stretching pains. First pregnancy so I don't have any way to compare but have a large family and everyone else said they don't remember these pains( no way will I forget them). Maybe its a RNY thing?
