Belly sizes/shapes.... 2nd baby
Hi everyone,
While technically this is my 3rd pregnancy, this is my 2nd baby. I got pregnant with my daughter when I was 3 months post surgery and didn't show with her till about 7 1/2 months along. (I expected that it was because of all the weight loss going on and being my first baby).
I'm about 19wks along now and have only lost weight (not sick, baby is just taking it). I'm down from about 220lbs to 209lbs (fine by me) and everything looks ok but I guess I'm just looking to see how much others are showing at this point. The placenta is not in the front and everything looks good, the baby is weighing in on target at about 7ozs.
My pants are doing the rubber band trick with a bella band but that is it. I have noticed that sometimes I don't feel hungry at all or very hungery (could be my meds for my bronchitis). Also, sometimes my 'upper belly' is 'fuller' than my 'lower belly', is anyone else having this? (Yes, I do still have my panni).
Thanks for any stories, thoughts or opinions!!!!

I'm pg with my second, but first post-op....and I feel I'm showing the same as you describe...fuller on top than on bottom. I'm only at 16 weeks, but I was already looking preggers when I was pg with my first. Like you, I've lost weight (23lbs - mainly sickness) and everything looks good when I go to the OB, but I just feel like I'm not growing like I should! I guess we're normal??
Yeah.... I guess we are normal, it's just that I wish I had more of a 'belly'. Pretty funny since we went through all this to lose the weight. lol. Maybe a few more weeks are all we need. It could be worse so at least the OB's are happy!

This is number 2 for me (first post wls) but my first was 12 years ago. I started this pregnancy at 253. I am now down to 239. I am 21 weeks and you cannot even tell that I am pregnant unless I wear my bella band and try and round out my extra skin (skin above my belly button and my panni, which is huge). I have noticed that the extra skin above my belly button is now poking out much more but I still don't look pregnant. Baby is measuring about a day ahead and was estimated at 13 oz. when I had my ultrasound on the 14th. I am hoping that I will eventually look pregnant.
