OMG Cathie you made me laugh so darn loud!!! Mainly because I've been there. We tried for Tyler for 4 years and after a few months sex was a task. Oh no not for hubby and he would try his darnest to prolong the intercourse and I would be like " can you just *** already!" LOL.. Brings back memories. Good luck sweetie!

My 'complaint' this week is actually a funny one (OK...so maybe I have a twisted sense of humor?).

Walked out the door this morning to a beautiful sunny day, snow up on the mountain (I live in the foothills) and life is good...until I actually stepped outside and ice skated on the remnants of the freezing rain from over night...skidded all the way to the stairs, slipped and slid up the stairs, holding onto the icy rail and got to the garage and into the car.  Drove to work with no problems...got to my parking spot (assigned spots) at work and slid when getting into the spot...so I knew it was icy there too.  As I got out, since I knew it was icy, I had a firm grip on the door...and was dangling from the door with my legs - all the way to my pelvis - under the car (Nissan Xterra SUV), trying to hold myself up long enough to get my feet back under me...but it was so icy that that wasn't happening.  I finally had to do an ass flop on the ground, climb from under the car, slide around on the ice trying to turn over to my knees so I could get up...then get my stuff from the back of the car and skate to the sidewalk which was not icy.  All that and I didn't even have a judge there holding my perfect score '10' card for my ice skating gracefulness!  Damn.  Who else can land under the car and not get a perfect score?!  I was fine all day long...didn't hurt anything...but now, 12-13 hours later...?  Not so much...I am definitely feeling it in my ass muscles now.

LOL - I thought about asking security if they caught it on their security cameras.  I'm probably gonna be on the funniest videos and someone else will walk away with my money!

Glad you understood my PM.

My rant today is that I had meetings all day long at work.  I got nothing accomplished and now my tailbone is hurting something terrible.

Mine is more of a peeve or very small rant. Just want to scream to my doctors office that if I wait 45 minutes in the waiting room for my appt that was 30 minutes ago, please don't call me to the back to only have to sit there for another 25 minutes before the doctor actually comes in.. Just leave me in the waiting room until you're REALLY available. Tease!!!

Sounds like the guy has good intentions but no motivation. Is the guy really nice and does he treat her well because he loves her, or because he's in a bind and loves her money? That's the kicker.

When I met my husband, he didn't have anything but the shirt on his back and a part-time job working as a bouncer. He is a hard worker, a loyal friend, a kind soul, and loves his family more than life. I saw those qualities in him and took a chance. It's been rough for us financially, but every other aspect of our relationship is great.

Then, there was the millionaire I dated before I met my husband. He was a total asshole, but would have been a great provider. I dumped his ass because I didn't want to deal with the emotional anguish I was put through.

So, maybe this bum is a nice guy, and just needs help getting on his feet. I hope so for your sister's sake!

I have tried to like this guy. Really. He comes across as a nice guy to people who don't know the situation. But I think he has systematicaly brainwashed my sister into thinking he's some sort of God and she is lucky to have him. He is perfectly happy collecting unemployment with no health insurance. Whenever we are together he talks about all his big traveling plans for the future. I think maybe in the beginning he had more motivation but has become comfortable being provided for.
Get this. We got married in Jamaica Oct 2009. He assumed that he was of course going to come, have his plane tix paid for, his passport rushed and then OH SNAP the government denied his passport at the last minute (which he knew would happen) because he owed over 5k in child support. Logiical idea would be to keep his ass home right. NOPE. He had my sister pay the balance of his support and rush his passport just so he could go on the trip. Then while he was there he kept her isolated from the other 12 family members and spent what little money she brought buying weed from the locals. My sister had to max out 3 CC's to pay his support, just so he could come, and damned if he didn't act like he was entitled to this trip. Even piled in the limo with us to the airport and didn't contribute to the fare or tip (but I wasn't suprised). Gag. I have run out of excuses for both of them. Sorry for the long rant on top of my original. Your husband sounds like a great guy. Definitely not the same type I have seen for 3 years.
OK one more rant on top of all that....what dumb ass claims he has no money for a year to buy a coffee pot but smokes a pack a day and runs to DD 3 times a day for coffee? Really? He couldn't save 50 bucks over a years time to buy a F'n coffee maker? (here I go again lol)

Hey Chelle... this guy really sounds like a loser.  And your sister must have the worst self-esteem issues to put up with this crap for so long.  I'm sorry!

I have to join in today.
Don't get me wrong now, cause I absolutely love spending time with my children but this is overkill! My babysitter quit on me a couple of weeks ago cause my 8 month old scream cries the entire time that I'm at work and it then sends my 5 year old crying. So she politely told us that she will watch them no more. Well, so now I'm taking them to work with me except for 2 days a week where my dad and step mom is watching them (thank God). I swear that my 5 year old has ADHD, no joke. She is full of fun, but she's also extremely headstrong, stubborn, and starting to get an attitude of she knows everything. I teach a writing class and 3 different choir classes in high school. It's chaos enough trying to get my students to not talk and just when I manage that, my 5 year old is talking or the baby is crying. My husband and I have absolutely no alone time as I have to get up earlier than him. My 5 year old falls asleep with me as does the 8 month old now. After about an hour my husband will pick them up and put them in their beds before he goes to sleep. My baby will not let anyone else hold her while I'm in the room or she'll cry her head off and during the day I try to distract her with things but I'm pretty much holding her 75% of my day. I'm a little stressed.
