One month after my miscarriage...
and I am pregnant again. I am scared, but hoping everything will be fine. The only thing that really sucks is now I don't have medical insurance, because we just moved from AZ to GA and my husband isn't able to get insurance for 3 months... I am hoping I can get state medical assistance.. but I dunno.. let's hope and pray everything goes smooth!
Don't get me wrong, I am happy for you. I was very sorry for your loss when it happened. I am curious though about your timing. I mean, I know when you got pregnant you were concerned with how soon it was post-op. We have the same surgeon's office, so I know they recommend at least 18 months before pregnancy after surgery, and stuff happens. Did you try to get pregnant so soon after? I know with my miscarriages I was advised to wait at least two cycles before trying again due to possible complications.
Please don't take this as an attack, just curious if this way something you planned, or intended

I was advised by my OB to wait one to two cycles before "trying" to get pregnant.... and by no means did I "try" to get pregnant before then.. we did use protection most of the time, but there was one or two times.. we were just involved and using protection didn't even cross our minds ( we have been married 11 years and NEVER used protection before.. so the only reason we used it at all this time was to prevent getting pregnant so early after the miscarriage) and this just happened.
Congratulations! I'm sending lots of good, sticky bean vibes for you.
You should be able to get on GA Medicaid or Amerigroup for expectant mothers.
What city did you move to? We have some great Bariatric resources down here.

Wow... now that's what I call fertile myrtle! There is someone who truly wants to enter into your lives! Congratulations to you and definitely praying for good stickiness. I'm sure you'll find the perfect OB for you who is familiar with your WLS and can support you accordingly. And that you'll find another WLS surgeon who can provide you with good follow up care as well. You'll definitely need that during your pregnancy.
