dr appt yesterday

So Yesterday my hubby and I went to our follow up appt after my d and c

It has been almost 3 weeks since the procedure and my doctor wanted to do a followup with us to make sure that we are doing okay and to talk about our future. He gave us the thumbs up to start trying again on my next cycle.

He told me that if we don't get a positive within 3 months to give him a call and he will give us Clomid? Has anyone taken this?  I know everyone is different but how long did it take for you to have a real cycle

LOL- I always peek at this board. We've been flying without BC for about 10 months just kind of winging it. No real plan... if it happens, it happens.  but so far we haven't had any luck. We tried day 14, then 12, then 16, then 13 and 15 LOL!!!  We've already decided that if we can't do it on our own, then we are not going to allow science to intervene. Some may find that ridiculous but it's our wishes. If it doesn't happen, life will move on for us.
 
But not getting pregnant may just be a blessing at this point. We move in 3 months and I just got my pre-approval letter from a home mortgage lender yesterday.  I've got enough stress in my life LOL!

My husband and I tried for one year on our own to get pregnant then went on Clomid in June '10. I got pg almost immediately but mc'd by 8 weeks. Even on Clomid I am only now starting to experience "normal" cycles (every 30 days).

I am miserable on Clomid. It does a real number on me physically but I believe these are rare side-affects. This will be my last month whether we get PG or not. 

I think you'll find more women that not that have taken / are taking Clomid. This is a great place to start!

I used Clomid for about 4 months. But it really made me feel bad, and I started to get pains during ovulation, it did not help me get pregnant. But hey everyone is different, try it out it is well worth it if it works for you! Good luck!

I don't know anything about Clomid...just wanted to say that I was thinking of you and hope you are doing better. The good news is that everything I've read says we are extra-fertile for 3 months after a MC or D&C. I am glad your dr gave you the OK and I will be praying for a sticky little bean for you and DH.
