Inside out

I don't know if this is normal, all in my head, or just plain "deal with it"...but I am in pain!

I am having sharp stabbing pains from the inside out - like someone is trying to pierce my woo-hoo from inside trying to get out.

I am trying not to cry out in pain-given that I am at work.
It has brought tears to my eyes it hurts.

Is this normal. Please don't tell me round ligament pain (that's always the docs' excuse) 'cause I'm not aware of any ligaments in my woohoo...
I've had a BM so it can't be back up.
I also just went potty so nothing left in my bladder.

This is happening more and more lately.

For the moment it has passed and I'm about to get up and walk around...but I am truly dreading the next time it happens.

Any suggestions, help, or whatever would be greatly appreciated.
Hugs!

It's normal at this stage! Baby is pressing on your cervix and it feels like your vagina is being stabbed.... Other times it feels like getting electric shocks in your cervix.... fun, right?

There are times I swear this kid is trying to claw his way out it hurts SO BAD.

Hang in there, mama!

Oh wow, that is scary to think this is normal....and that momma's do this/go through this more than once!
Congrats to every one who has braved this over and over again.

I guess I'm just going to try and grin and bare it for the next 5 weeks.
Thanks for the info  :-)

Hey Jes! I feel your pain...well, from time to time. I researched it online and as far as I could see it's mostly attributed to the baby contacting the nerves in your cervix and that's what gives the horrifying stabbing feeling down there. It's not constant for me, but ever since he dropped on Jan 30th, I've been having those pains here and there...they suck!!! Hang in there!

PS...Finally had 2 BMs today...ahhhh relief!!! LMAO...pregnancy is grand!!! haha

Thanks Kerri.
Again, glad I'm not the only one but sad that anyone has to go through these pains!!!
Hmmmm, I would love some relief. I guess that will happen when he decides to make his entrance...oh well.

BTW, so glad your BM finally happened!!!  Hopefully you'll continue to find relief through the remainder of your pregnancy. Less than 2 weeks for you!!!! Yay!!!

Hugs,
Jes

Yep, I used to get that. I think it's nerve pain, stabbing, shooting nerve pain! It takes your breath away for sure. You might try laying on a different side, or getting on your hands and knees and rocking a bit to shift the baby a bit and get it off whatever it's pinching!

Thanks Dev.
Unfortunately when it happens I can't move!
I know the rocking thing helps when he starts swinging on my pelvic bones...

I just keep thinking, 5 more weeks from today!!!  Yay!!!!

Thanks again  :-)
