Bittersweet u/s & meeting

Hi

I had my NT scan at the hospital yesterday and we saw a healthy growing bug. Bug is measuring 2 days head which I was very relieved to hear as I had been worrying about not eating enough. Sac B is completely gone now and Sac C has move to the top and I have been told I will deliver the "fetus & sac" after I have had bug. It still breaks my heart seeing a baby there not moving or growing but I am very blessed to of had one of the triplets make it. We got a quick look between the legs and saw nothing but what looked like 2 lines. There was a great side profile that we just sat there and was watching, I looked for the nub and they are guessing at 75-80% We are having a girl.

We aren't buying anything until my next u/s to confirm. I might be having Bug earlier than planned due to having PIH and HELLP with my last 3 pregnancies. I will start getting some sort of test and if it goes positive I will be induced straight away. No waiting and seeing this time, and then for everything to then be an emergency.

Goodluck to the ladies trying this month. I hope to see many BFP

Best wishes

I can't begin to understand the mixed up feelings you're having right now - joy that one baby is growing healthy and strong (God willing) and sorrow that two others didn't make it...especially when one of them is still 'there' for you to see.  I do believe, though, that they're all 'normal' feelings and something that you can only take as they come.

I hope that you don't develope any of the complications experienced in your other pregnancies, but am glad you have drs who are ready to take action at the first signs of complications.

Best wishes.

Crystal,

Glad to hear your one "bug" is growing nicely.  Like Holly said, I'm sure it must be some mixed emotions you're experiencing with losing 2 and still having 1 in there growing.  But just know that this little one growing inside you will probably be the strongest child in heart, mind, and spirit.  You will see that everytime you look into this child's eyes.

Prayers for a healthy rest of your pregnancy.
