Baby Hazel and me
Well as yall all know thanks to my wonderfull angel I had baby Hazel. We are now back home enjoying each other. I went in to the doctors on thursday to have another non fetal stress test done and had another ultrasound. I was 38 weeks pregnant but Hazel was only measuring at 33 weeks gestastion. This realy conserened my doctor. She had allready set me up to go to the maternal fetal medicine doctor but it wasent til this week. So the doctor hooked me up to the non stress test and her heartbeat kept having deselorations plus she wasn't moving like she was supposed to. Which had started to concern me since she has allways been a mover. So the doctor gave me some lemonaide to try and wake her up it helped a little but not much. So my doctor called the MFM doctor to see what they suggested and they immiedtly said deliver me. Since I was allready having some contrations and she wasnt tollerating those we decided a csection would be best. I was admitted to the hospital at 6 and wheeled back to the OR at 8 they tried 3 times to do a spinal but I guess Im still to fluffy cause they couldnt find the space and I had to be put to sleep. Baby Hazel Olivia Winfrey was born at 849pm Febuary 10th healthy and happy. She had a little glucose issues in the begning, but now is doing just fine. I am so happy to have my little girl here. Now I just have to recover from my surgery. Today we will be going to the pediatrician for her first appointment cant waite.
Congrats Apryl. I'm glad God was watching over you and Hazel and got you into this doctor before anything could happen to your little girl. Were they able to determine what was causing her to stop growing and what was up with her heart rate?
Post us some more pictures of Hazel when you can...and update on her appointment today.

So, so so happy that everything turned out so wonderfully in the end for you both!! I can't wait to be in your shoes, but holding my little boy :) It's awesome that you had a wonderful doctor who took the time to look into your situation and find some answers before sending you home and making you wait til your appointment...it's so sad, but it's so hard to find GREAT doctors these days some times!! Hope you recovery quickly!!!
