Hi girls! I wanted to send a special thank you out to all the ladies that have been stopping by to give words of encouragement to the ladies ttc. Reyna ~ Welcome to the post. I went back and read your intro. Sounds somewhat like my story and my results are in my siggy! My miracle drug was metformin, totally regulated my cycles. But even with pcos and hubbies super low sperm counts we have 2 beautiful babies to show for it now. Medical advances have come so far...there will be lots of things to help you. Good luck and keep us posted.

Some common terms:

TTC - trying to conceive
BFP - big fat positive (positive pregnancy test)
BFN - big fat negative (negative pregnancy test)
CD - the day of your menstrual cycle
O - ovulation
DPO - days past ovulation
LP - luteal phase (time from ovulation to period)
AF - aunt flow ( your period)
PG - pregnant/pregnancy
MC - misscarriage
RE - reproductive endocrinologist
OPK - ovulation prediction kit
CL - coverline ( for those taking their temps to confirm ovulation)
Met - metformin or glucophage ( a diabetes medication sometimes taken to help hormone levels and ovulation)
BD - baby dancing ( having timed intercourse)
DTD - doing the deed
IUI - inter uterine insemination
IVF - in vitro fertilization
PCOS - polycystic ovarian syndrome
POAS - pee on a stick (taking a pregnancy test)
2WW - two week wait...time from ovulation until you can test for pg

thanks. 1 week down and 1 to go. im doing my best to stay calm and non-stressed but waiting is hard work,lol. next friday is my testing day so fingers crossed i get that BFP

So I'm still on bed rest and taking it easy!!!  Monday is my first beta and Wed. is the next.. My clinic doesn't give you the test results until after the 2nd beta.. so Wed is the day!!! Hoping and praying for my BFP!!!!!!!!

Renee ~ I am gonna be on pins and needles hon! After 2 other IVF's it is hard to sugar coat this, you know that. But, Lord willing you are gonna get that great news on Wed. Remind me okay...there is no hcg trigger for IVF, right? So how the heck are you waiting to test? I wouldn't have the will power, I would probably be testing 3 times a day! And being on bed rest is just mean...lol All you have is time to think about it. I hope you are reading and keeping your mind busy as much as possible. Renee... I really hope this is it hon!

Ohh yes, there is an hcg trigger for IVF!!  But I'm just a pee stick chicken!!!!  I have a box in the cabinet.. I've opened the box.. but that's as far as I've got!

I have better odds with this cycle, because we did the PGE (genetic testing of the embryos).  So I know the embryos transferred had all their chromosomes and were GOOD!!!  My RE said they were beautiful blasts and she was very happy with the results!!!   So my fingers are crossed!

In the TWW.  I think somethings going on though because I got a UTI.  last time I got one I was preggo with Sage.  We shall see.

 I also want to say thank you to everyone for all of their prayer, comments, and encouraging thoughts and especially to you Shari. It really means so much to have this support. I guess this month wasn't meant to be but after spending a little time on here I feel better. One good thing though is I had a visit for AF with no medical assistance.
