I know I so didn't need it, but I just HAD to make an egg sandwich!! My sandwich consists of 2 peices of honey wheat bread (toasted), an egg with the yolk cooked, 2 thin slices of turkey breast and a sprinkle of cheddar jack cheese melted!!! OMG! I have that for breakfast just about every other morning, but tonight I had sucha  craving I had to make me one LOL..I usually can stomach about half to 3/4 and end up feeding the rest to my begging bassett hounds hahaha

And let's just say little guy is in there bouncing around like a nutso now!!! :)

LOL...Holly I'll make an OT thread here for you in a little bit with some pics...we have bred our male and female 2 times now. Unfortunately, my male is from the Grand Bassett bloodline and he's about 60lbs, so we're trying to adopt him out now because we're not going to breed them again with the baby coming and everything. He's a big lovey dovey sweetheart, but he's HIGH strung and loves to jump on me. I'll have to take a few pics, but I'll post them today for you...oh duh...we have 3 right now...we have our Momma (Princess), we rescued her in 2008 from a home where she was tied to a tree and neglected by 3 little boys and her owner must have beat her because anytime my husband had his Army uniform she would cower and pee everywhere and she had worms really bad...now she's a big old fatty LOL  We ended up keeping one of the females out of this last litter because she was the last one left and my husband was in love with her. She was born with gray instead of black and is just gorgeous. :)

In high school we had a dog who was half bassett who was very smart and very funny.  Then the neighbors bassett - Josh - came over one day.  My dog (Pooh) was outside barking like crazy and I opened the door to see why she was barking and Josh just walked in the house, walked over to the kitchen cabinet, stood up and started eating the cookies I had cooling on the counter.  Later that day, we found his owner, who was a single guy in his mid-20s, who took him home.  The next day, Josh was back.  He spent every day that summer coming to our house.  His owner woud put him in the garage, but he had one of those really old garage doors that open straight, not roll up?  and Josh would just push and push on it until it came open.  His owner put a huge tree stump in front of it to try to stop him but it didn't work.  As soon as he left for work, Josh left to come to my house.  Eventually  his owner learned to just stop by on his way home from the bus to pick up his dog.  Josh was white with brown and black spots and he was huge compared to my dog who was half bassett.  She was about one foot tall and 2 1/2 feet long...he was about 18 inches tall and about 4 feet long and very heavy.  His ears would flap like wings when he ran, and fall in his food when he ate, so we tied his ears up with a bow when he was eating.
