Questions about Fetal Size
Hi Everyone,
We had an ultrasound yesterday and everything looks good. Had the IPS test and the NT is in the normal range, which is wonderful. Hopefully the blood work will indicate that things are all good and further testing can be put to rest.
The technician told us that our baby was measuring at 7.1mm which is what is normal for 13 weeks and 4 days. I am 12 weeks and 4 days. What does all this mean? Does my due date change? Is my baby just going to be a big baby? I am just a little confused. Any information would be so helpful!
Thank you
Jenn

It probably doesn't mean anything. You could be further along, but in reality, a week either way doesn't really matter in the end (provided you're talking full term). At that time, my son measured behind by a week and I ended up induced at 39 weeks and had a 9 pound baby. Soooo.... doesn't always mean anything when it's only a little bit of a difference. A pixel or two can mean alot. I'd be suprised if your OB changed your due date.
Congrats on the good test results.
