Spent day in L&D lol

So I went to the womens health to have them give me something more for a headache and all. Told them I was having some BH but nothing awful but that I had a headache for 5 days that my meds were not helping. Doc saw me and checked the babies and my cervix and all and said I would feel better sending you to L&D and so I went. Woohoo. Got there and got hooked up and got a bag of fluid. Got a percocet for the headache. Nope no help. lol. Then they gave me phergan in the iv. Another bag of fluid. Nurse came in with a shot and I said whats that for? He said oh its for the contractions you are having. Its a little too early so we want to get those to stop. LOL. Well at least I know I was not crazy about the contractions. They got spaced out more and all and they checked me again and said try these Fiorocet pills at home and see if they help. They wanted me on bedrest for a few weeks. I said how bout we try that till Monday and see if everything is better. LOL. He said ok feet up no running around and stay in the dark rooms and see how you feel. If nothing has changed come back and we will see what our next step is. So thats what I am doing. I have feet up. Husband took off today to take care of Hayvann and by Monday I am determined. I cant stand sitting :) but I know if I need to then I definately will :) Thats about it :)

Have DH go to the library and get a stack of new books that Hayvann hasn't seen before so that you can spend time laying down reading to her - entertaining her w/o having to be 'up.' If DH is any sort of cook...he could spend a day cooking various casserole type dinners and freezing them so you don't have to be doing anything during the week either.  I'm sure you could get up long enough to pop something in the oven...then get your butt back down and feet up.  I know it's got to be boring as hell - not to mention frustrating, since you have kids you need to be taking care of and a house to run...but right now...this is more important.  DH can do what he can to help w/the kids...you can direct from the side lines.

Did the meds at least help w/the headache? 

I am totally with you with regards to staying still, I hate being off work but I had to because it was too stressful with my Fibro/Lupus issues. I have been off work for  month and and I still have three more to go....... driving me crazy.

Sorry you're on a little bit of bedrest.  I'm sure that with this total relaxation and feet up, everything will calm down and you'll be back to your old self.  Thoes little ones still have some more cooking time.
