Lurker in need of an OPK expert

Most OPKs will tell you not to use FMU, but rather between 2-10 pm.  I would say test once a day until the lines are getting a bit darker or your near your usual O day.  Definitely check out Amazon, you can get cheap OPKs and HPTs there.

Ok- here's another question- what are the better tests to use- pink dye, blue dye? I know that digital's are probably the best thing to use, but they can get expensive.   I have read on here that some people get better results with certain types of tests.

I've never heard anything bad about blue dye OPKs, since "a line" isn't just a line on OPKs, like it is on HPTs.  Avoid blue dye HPTs like the plague though :)  Smiley face digitals are nice, but expensive.  What many women do it buy a lot of cheapies and when they think they have a + they use a digital to confirm it.

Thanks for responding. I actually plan to do the cheapies then digital for the HPT. 

I'm cheap so I just went the cheapie route and I temped, which I highly recommend as well :)
