Okay, I know, I know the pink is over kill....but I couldn't help myself..LMAO!! Now I need some suggestions as this nursery is starting not to look "finished" or it may need a splash of something else. What can I add, take away, or is it fine the way it is? I need HELP!! My daughter's room is TOO PINK!! I know there's a lot of pics on here so bear with me. Also should I get a shelf in here somewhere? Needs some ideas....the walls look bare~~Gina

I don't understand what you said. "Too much pink"? What does that even mean? I LOVE it! I think it's gorgeous!

HAHAH I can tell you are thrilled to be having a girl. That furniture is gorgeous. Maybe you can just throw up some wall decals? They peel right off so you can move them around. Or maybe some framed Disney princess pics? But it looks beautiful.

It's VERY pretty! I LOVE the crib, it's beautiful.

Going to be one lucky little girl!.

How about some lime green touches here and there. Or some other bright color. Maybe some wall hangings, rugs or something like that?

Whatever you do, it already looks great!

Best wishes!
Kina

Maybe some different colored curtains?

Pink and chocolate brown look adorable together and the darker colored curtains will block out more light than the sheer pink ones (you'll appreciate that during daylight savings time changes and nap times... trust me)

Other than that, it's adorable. You'll accumlate tons of toys and stuff after the baby is born to fill up the room, I wouldn't worry about "too much pink" at this point.

I think it looks beautiful so far!!!  I would probably paint vertical off-white (mother of pearl) stripes on one of the larger walls...it would go well with the traditional furniture and chandelier you have and could balance out the pink a little.  I would add some more wall art as well...small pictures in large frames with wide white matting.

Good luck...when you finish, you should add pics to HGTV.com!

OK so... It is very very pink. Pretty... My sister would love it. I am so not a pink girl. (thank god I only have boys! :D )

I would recommend smaller shelves on either side of the dresser or either side of the castle. You could paint them green or maybe yellow. Black also goes well with pink.... but is more punky than princess.

Glad you're excited about your little girl! :)
