Considering Cloth Diapering?

Sage is wearing a one size pocket diaper.  That one was hand made but I ordered a ton of Kawaii's and flip diapers.  Flips are a hybrid where you can reuse the outer shell over and over with out washing it but you change the insert.  I also bought a couple of prefolded econobums. 

The Kawaii's are the most reasonable pocket diaper I have found and quite a few people recommend them.  I found them on this site--  www.theluvyourbaby.com/diapers/.  I got a pack of 12 patterned ones for 80 dollars, then a few minky ones for 20 more bucks.

I have to ask because I just don't get it ... umm, what about when they poop? You just toss it in the washer turd and all?  Scrape it off? What?
Someone enlighten me!


ETA:  Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh, I watched the video. I think I get it now. I was picturing the old school cloth diapers with folds and pins and whew! ..

Lol yea totally different than what most people picture.  And the first time the cloth went on her she pooped.  I was dreading it.  It wasn't bad at all.  I just took a baby wipe (one of the ones I used to change her) and pushed the excess into the toilet.  Then I took my shower head and sprayed of the excess poop.  I threw it in the wash and it came out completely clean.  It was a big poop too.  I figure we are already moms, we deal with more poop than anyone should have to for the first 3 ish years of our kids life. lol

You know I love it! TOO CUTE!

I am becoming very well versed aren't I??  A little bit confusing, but I am getting the hang of it.

Once you get the lingo down it's pretty easy (and SO much cuter then sposies LOL)!
