Considering Cloth Diapering?

Sage and I just started.  I was 100% against it, thought it was silly.  Now I am a complete convert.  I saw a video on the morning show explaining how easy it was.  I was starting having anxiety about running out of disposable diapers and was spending a ton on them.  We have one started diaper and I am waiting for 2 huge lots to come in.  Look how cute she looks in her cloth!

She looks cute!  I think it is great if you can use-do it!

We used them when my husband and I worked opposite shifts when my daughter who is 16 was a baby.  Cloth diapers have come a long way since then!  I wish we could use them now, but the State Day Care Licensing Board has decided they are not "sanitary" and won't allow cloth diapers in a state licensed day care in our state.  I think it is bogus considering they are covered at all times except for changing!

I cloth diaper my twins and started doing so when they were a couple months old (when they finally fit in newborn sizes). I use a one size diaper from fuzzibuns and love them. Even my "cloth diaper hating" mother in law has gown to like them after seeing how easy they are to use.

She's an OB and has even started telling some of her new mom clients about using cloth and how
easy it is.

And now with #3 on the way i just a few days, it's great to know he can share his sisters' diapers and save us even more money (hopefully he won't mind the "girly" colored diapers) lol.

I like cloth diapering!  I am still using disposables with my son because I bought a lot of one size ones and his legs aren't quite fat enough to fill out the leg holes yet, but as soon as they fit, that's what he'll wear.

ETA:  Sage looks darling.

We are planning to! I can't wait to see my little one in a fluffy butt. Sage is too cute!

I started at 324lbs and a size 26.  After losing 100 lbs, I became pregnant with my first daughter, who was born in March 2011.  My second daughter was born in September 2013.  I have maintained a healthy lifestyle and now hover around 160lbs.  I would like to get back to the 140lbs before I became pregnant with my second daughter.  The sleeve literally gave me LIFE - two beautiful, healthy little girls.  My husband had his VSG with Dr. Marema on 10/1/2012 and is on his weight loss journey, currently down 90lbs.

I would love to try cloth with this baby but fiance' isn't too sure.  I am not sure where to start though.  Any suggestions?

DH wasn't sure either but he is pretty much on board now.  I suggest going to a cloth diaper website.  cottonbabies.com and kellyscloset.com are good.  They have descriptions of all the types of diapers.  It is a little overwhelming but very easy to get the hang of.  This is a good website to browse-  pinstripesandpolkadots.com/basics.htm
