Almost 8 weeks preg, no m/s
In general, I find that people, and sometimes even doctors who don't know better, blame the weight loss surgery for symptoms we have almost as a "default explanation" when they can't come up with something better. Don't fall for it! I had two totally healthy pregnancies 5 years post-op, then 2 miscarriages with no morning sickness with any of the pregnancies. Every baby is a miracle and every pregnancy is different because there's nobody like YOU! Revel in it, Girl.
My only real symptoms are dizzyness, backache (minor but I also have spina bifida occulta), sore boobs (though that's almost gone now), fatigue and occasional cramping. I've had a smattering of other issues but those are the top ones.
It worried me to no end but daily pregnancy tests helped, and seeing Squish on Monday helped a lot too. Some of us are just lucky, try and embrace it, though I know that's difficult :)
