I have heard it before but I have no clue if it's true.  If I could make a suggestion - check out the Actively Trying: The Next Level board at Babycenter.  I honestly think all my reading there finally got me my BFP after 15 cycles. (8 years no preventing) Not that the women here aren't knowledgable - quite the contrary!  But for hard core TTCers (not just hoping for the best around CD 14) I can't recommend the board highly enough.  Some of the women can be harsh, but there are a lot of multiple miscarriage and unexplained infertility sufferers so there is some bitterness.  If you can get past that though, I bet you learn a TON and get your BFP sooner rather than later :)

We ttc for over 10 years 7 year pre wls and 3 years prior before finally conceiving surprise pg at the ripe old age of 39.  By then we just figured we werent gonna have any.  To be honest with you if I had heard this back in the day I would have tried it.  I was to the point I would have tried and did anything once.  I did fertility chiropratic treatments,  I took the cough syrup to thin muscus.  I tried fertility vitamins me and hubby.  I tried preseed (btw love that stuff still use lol) I would have tried acupunture but no one in my area does that.  Best of luck to you!

I never heard of the Geritol helping to conceive but i have heard about cough medicine like Robitussin.  Apparently this cough medicine loosens all the mucus in the body including vaginal mucus which allows the sperm to move more freely and reach the egg.  I think they suggest you take it for about 3 days before you ovulate....(google this be sure of when to take it).  I found about this on babyzone.com

Actually it just thins your existing mucus, so if you have lotiony mucus, you might ge****ery after taking Robitussin or Mucinex.  Watery is more fertile than lotiony.  Egg white is the most fertile.
