Gavin is here! 6 weeks early, 3lbs , NICU PICS

Well, my high blood pressure led to severe pre-eclampsia and I started dropping platelets. Then I started losing fluid. I had been in the hospital almost 3 weeks by the time last Thursday came and they decided to deliver. I turned 34 weeks that day. Gavin Liam was born via emergency c-section. He weighed 3lbs 15oz. He was bigger than my 2nd son who was 34 weeks and 3lbs 4oz. So far he is doing well. He is maintaining body temp, breathing on his own, and feeding well. We hope he will be coming home soon. He is doing so wonderful. He is such a blessing. My 3rd miracle. I had my tubes tied during my c-section since he is my 3rd boy and each one was premature. My body obviously cannot handle babies. I decided not to do it again. I don't think I can handle it. This time was really hard being in the hospital for so long and my husband , who is military, had a hard time with his unit giving him time off and he had to manage our 7 yr old and 3  yr old full time on his own while going to work. It was just too crazy. Here are pics of my lil' man.

That night, I came to visit him in the NICU and I was able to feed him!

Awwww! What a teeny tiny little fellow!!! Too cute! So glad to hear all the stress and hospital time will soon be over for you and baby and you will both be home! It's awesome that he's doing so well for being such a itty bitty thing, but he is just perfect for you Momma!!! Congrats to Mommy, Daddy, baby and big brothers!!! :)

Here I go with the tears again...I have got to get my pregnancy hormones in check....Sweetie he is the most precious little boy I've ever seen. I'm so glad mommie and baby are doing ok. Congrats on that beuatiful baby boy.

He is so sute. I am happy you guys are doing well. I worry about the military problem too. With being so far doc is saying bed rest and I have my daughter and its not like my husband can stay home with us. Its very hard sometimes. I too am getting my tubes tied. Update soon. :)

I know your feeling. I am having a hard time still and my husband is supposed to be on 10 days leave! Entitled leave and they are giving him crap. It never ends.
