Poll- What are you getting your significant other for Valentines Day?

2nd post of the day, can you tell I'm a little bored?

So what are you getting your loved one for V-day? Are you going out to eat? Are you still at a point where you even acknowledge Valentines Day? LOL

2 years ago we started going "out" the night before V-day. It works out nice, not as crowded. All the times before that, we would wait for hours even with reservations. The service would be always rushed. Then on V-day we just make a nice dinner here. I saw heart shaped pink ravioli at an italian bakery I am picking up tomorrow.
I am getting my husband the new George Bush book which everyone seems to like. And those stupid chocolate covered cherries from Harry & David that he loves. I just realized I can get them at TJ Maxx for pretty cheap and that makes me a happy camper :)  Screw you, overpriced chocolatiers!

haha. We have been together for thirteen years and the last 5 or so years we do not celebrate.

As corny as it sounds we celebrate throughout the year. I will get flowers for no reason or my favorite Edible Arrangement once in a while. He will leave sticky love notes around, etc. I do the same for him.

I think Valentines day is way over rated. We will get my son a small thing of chocolate.

For us, 2/13 is our 2 yr anniversary of being together.  So I'm planning the festivities for Sun 2/13 and Jill gets to plan Vday.  I'm totally excited.  Jill hasta work on Sunday.  So i have all day to prepare and make it all perfect.  I went shopping this weekend and bought a new sexy lingerie for me to wear for her (black w/hot pink kiss marks all over it.)  She loves it when I "dress up."  tee hee.  Jill also loves wearing dress shirts and ties.  So I found this hot tie by Jerry Garcia (yes, it's kinda psychadelic looking) and it has red in it.  Jill also doesn't have a red dress shirt.  so I bought both the tie and the red dress shirt.  So I'm going to make us a yummy dinner of tasty finger foods... will have a nice bottle of wine chilled... and then she'll come home to me wearing her present (both outfits!)  Ya... and that's it!  Woo hoo!!!  I'm excited just thinking about it.  Ya... i was totally ovulating when i went shopping yesterday!  (too bad OB wants me to wait 1 more cycle before we can AI!)

I'm a great baker.  So I'll probably bake up some yummy dessert using stevia so I can enjoy it too.  Time to poor through the recipe books.

I consider shaving my legs and wearing my husbands boxers to bed an attempt to "be sexy". LOL

 DH and I have been together 13 years.. married 8 in March. We plan on going out for dinner this coming weekend and then just spend a quiet night at home after Alex goes to bed and probably watch a movie or two.  :)  No gifts!

Unfortunately my fiance' will not be home.  He drives over the road.  He's gone right now.  He left on the 30th and will finally be home on Wednesday.  I have my dr appointment on the 10th and we are hoping to find out what this baby is.  He will probably be leaving on Sunday the 13th.  Sucks but with me not working, it's good money.  He calls me everyday saying how much he misses me.  He even cried when he left on the 30th, and he doesn't ever cry.

We usually don't do much but I wish he would be here with me.  Instead I get to take his mother to the doctor, oh joy.  And she drives me nuts, lol.

uhh no clue, thanks for reminding me. haha. i will prob get his some stupid dvd he wants and he better get me some fuzzy socks i asked for. Oh and a BFP would be nice too.. lol

We'll probably have a nice dinner and maybe go to a movie on Sunday because Suzy has to work Monday night and I work both of my jobs on Mondays. Have fun!

WEll DH works 2nd shift so sunday I'll make an extra special dinner. WE don't really do gifts persay but he'll get me flowers. I think I might get him a card from me and our daughter and maybe a little something.
