FRIDAY TTC POST (who is makin lovvvve?)
***And thanks to all you ladies for the outpouring of support about my hospital stay. I am finally eating solid foods again and feel much, much better. Good news is the doctor doesn't think it is Chron's disease. It is possibly stress related, or a kink in the intestines that worked out.
Eleni ~ Now that you are officially out of the closet and announced your pg, I can officially say congrats on a public forum!! Congrats on seeing that hb yesterday! <3 ya
Candace ~ I just saw your bfp post! Congratulations hon! Have a happy and healthy nine months okay!!

Changed for good
...september 17, 2007...
My daughter Emily had 3 positive pregnancy test, made a doctors appointment, bought a couple dollar store cheap test to do another test so this time we could take a picture to start a scrap book but they were negative however being dollar store cheap ones did not give it much thought, bought a more expensive better test however it was also negative, made contact with the doctor and got an earlier appointment, doctors test was also negative, advised it appears to be something called a spontaneous abortion(which I did not know much about but later researched and it is quite common, read below for more info), and doctor wanted her to have an ultrasound to make sure all was ok and that nothing was hiding that the test were now not showing. She had the ultrasound on the 31st and she is fine but no baby in her life right now.
One day I will be a grandma but it must not of been the right time. She is registered for school and working on her future. Thanks for all your support on OH and facebook.

Spontaneous abortion is a very common experience for women. It is estimated that between 25-50% of conceptions spontaneously abort. Researchers do not have an exact figure due to the fact that when this occurs very early on, many women do not know that they were ever pregnant. Many other women have a suspicion that they were pregnant and aborted, but are not certain. A late, heavy, painful "period" is often what is experienced in a mid-first trimester spontaneous abortion. Some women will see large clots or tissue clumps. The woman may have also felt some of the symptoms of early pregnancy beforehand. The only ways to be certain is to have a blood (as opposed to urine) pregnancy test immediately after the symptoms and a pelvic ultrasound. The blood test confirms the pregnancy in its earliest stages, and the ultrasound confirms that there is no longer an embryo. Alternatively, if there is a large clot or piece of tissue, it can be analyzed in the lab to see whether or not it is an embryo. The majority of women who spontaneously abort do not have either of these procedures done. And most need little or no medical intervention. In most cases, the uterine lining sheds itself and all the embrionic tissues from the body. The woman's hormones will revert back to the non-pregnant, menstrual cycle shortly after.
