There used to be a show called "Maternity Ward' on TLC that I thought it would be similar to. There were some funny parts, but I basically wanted to smack half these people (including some of the nurses).  Ugh.

I kinda liked it. I've spent the last 6 years as a healthcare worker and will tell you that nurses have their own sense of humor. I felt bad for that nurse with the couple who wouldn't let her check out anything. I know that they wanted to go natural, but if something had happened, it would've been her head that had rolled.

I thought it was hilarious when they were talking about the " ________ety - nine year old with chlamydia. " and she said that she wanted to congradulate her. I SO know nurses like that.

Yeah, that couple with the birth plan and their doula really annoyed me. Well, the husband did, anyway. He was pretty rude to the nurses.
The guy who went out to Walmart to buy a carseat while his wife was in labor.....obviously not a planner. I wish that show would come back on TLC, or at least show re-runs.

Yeah he was really rude. I felt so bad for that nurse... and I wanted to smack him. The dude with the stroller/carseat... yeah that was funny. He certainly didn't make himself look anybetter. And all those people eating. I kept telling my husband... you're not allowed to eat until I am. You'll survive.

I watched it and fell asleep half way through it...BORING!!! The commercials showed the best parts, which were few far and in between. I just didn't think it was as exciting and funny as the commercials made it seem. The lady who got the drug in her IV to "take the edge off" while waiting for her epidural was too funny. She appeared high after it was administered and couldn't stop raving how good it felt. LOL.. Will I being staying up past 10pm to watch it again???.....Nah!!!

I didn't catch it, but the commercial where the dad drops his cell phone when taking a picture of the baby makes me CRACK up, then I feel bad for laughing EVERY time

I stayed up way past my bedtime to watch this. I liked it, I didn't care for some of the nurses. And that family that went natural, I was like what the hell?!  I understand they wanted to go all natural, but they were rude to the nurse, who just wanted to check baby's progress. Overall, I enjoyed it. I'm super tired today though, since we get up at 5 am for work!

I'm paying for it today........I stayed up way too late last night to watch the show! I have to say that I got a kick out of it. I found parts frustrating to annoying and other parts I thought were funny. Overall it is definitely a show that I will watch again!
