Concerned - 9 months out and positive pregnancy test

I'm just over 9 months out from RNY and was a day late,
so I went ahead and did a pee test.  It came out positive.
We were using preventatives, but it still happened.  We
are excited b/c we tried for 2 years and were never able
to conceive, but now freaked out b/c I'm not even a year
out of surgery.  I will be calling my doctors in the morning.
I ended up doing three tests total b/c I was in disbelief.
Is it possible to have a healthy pregnancy at this stage?

Congrats on ur BFP!  And yes you can have a healthy pregnancy only 9 mos out of ur WLS.  It may take you being a little more rigorous with your vites and dr's appts.  But many women on this board got pg while using contraceptives less than a year post-op.  I'm not one of them, but many women here are.

You'll be fine.  Make sure your OB understands a RNY pregnancy and has experience with it.  If he/she doesn't you might want to ask your bari surgeon for a recommendation of an OB who does.

 I got pregnant around 8.5 months out and i'm doing great :) definitely talk to you dr's office about your vitamins and make sure to get appointments booked! You'll do fine :)

Went to my primary doctor today and the pregnancy 
was confirmed with their urine test.  They also took
blood and I'll get those results on Monday afternoon.
I think I'm still partially in disbelief, but quite excited!
