*New*1 year out and Pregnant

Hi Everyone

I am almost one year out (Feb 9,2011) and i just found out that i am pregnant. Im not real sure how far along i am, but i would guess and say four or 5 wks. Im concerned about this pregnancy because i was told by my surgeon to wait at least 18mths. while i understand that, sometimes these things happen. (it was not planned at all). so any advice or words of encouragement would be helpful

Congrats! I am a bandster so I am not much help to you but I know there are a lot of other RNY on this board, and some got pregnants months after surgery.

Congrats and welcome!  I'm a fellow RNYer and I'm 13weeks preggers at 7 months out....all is going well so far besides some constipation and terrible morning sickness.  Here's to a happy and healthy pregnancy! :)

 14 weeks here and doing great. You need to call your surgeons office and see which vitamins they want you on and get any advice from them that you can. They were great for me. I got pregnant about 8.5 months out, almost 9. Only thing I can say is be prepared for nausea and hunger! lol Good luck and congrats :)

Congrats. I'm 11 weeks and 14 weeks post op. All is well so far! Good luck.
