Pregnant 9 mos post op

So I had the iud in and suprise I'm pregnant!!! I'm only 9 mos out and wondering what to expect weight wise... Gaining and loosing is my concern...had the iud removed yesterday

Your story sounds very familiar............
I was 9mo post op (VSG) with a Mirena IUD in place (lost 130 lbs in 9 mo, 30lbs from my GW).
The IUD was removed at my first OB appointment and thankfully didn't cause any complications.
I'll be 36wk on Monday, I've gained 18-20 lbs with the baby weighing over 7lbs already.
I'm not concerned at all about loosing the weight and reaching my goal after the baby is born. My surgeon and my OB have been very supportive and this has been a super easy pregnancy compared to carrying my twins pre-op.

 i'm almost 14 weeks, haven't gained an ounce yet, i have lost a total of 22lbs so far...was really nausous for about 2 months though, now i'm eating good but still losing about a pound a week

congrats, Nikki!  Lotsa women on this board got their BFP while on some form of bc within a year post-op.  You're not alone. Congrats to you and hope you have a happy and healthy 9 mos.
