Can miscarriage lower hemoglobin in bloodwork?

Just had yearly labs and my hemoglobin is just under the acceptable range.  Wondering if that is from VSG or my miscarriage last month or one or the other or a combination of both?

Anyone know?

Thank you for your reply.  I've been really good about my vitamins but I'm also informed enough to know that I could run the risk of a vitamin deficiency or nutritional deficiency anemia like many VSGers.  Unfortunately, due to horrible insurance, I did not have any bloodwork drawn during 2010 to compare the recent results.

Thanks again.

Aw hon I am sorry for your loss. I did take extra iron during my mc. Can you run out to a pharmacy this weekend? If you extra tired it could be from an iron deficiancy.
((hugs))

Thanks, Chelle.  I followed your loss and am so happy to see you have a new ticker going on in your signature!!! :)

I haven't really felt any of the symptoms of iron deficiency or more tired than normal.  I actually ran a half marathon last weekend.  I might double up on my multi for a little while and see if that makes a difference.

Thanks for your advice and support!!
