Such a klutz

I am such a klutz.  I should know better living in Maine but was totally talking to my daughter and not paying attention.  Stepped off the curb after leaving the store and totally slipped on the ice/snow.  Luckily I landed on my knees and was able to catch myself with my right wrist.  I had my purse and water bottle in my left hand.  My wrist and arm are a bit sore and so is my right knee.  I think it took the majority of my weight as my left knee doesn't hurt at all.  But I think I am going to have some pretty bruises on my knees tomorrow.  Oh well, stuff happens.  I'm not at all worried about the baby since my stomach never hit the ground and the baby is so well protected in there.  So word of advice, lol, Pay attention when walking on ice and snow.

Normally your OB would want you to go to L&D to be monitored just in case. Anytime you fall you should call and inform them and let them tell you not to worry. Just saying. I got pretty much yelled at by my OB for not calling when I fell off the couch when I was trying to stand up due to severe sciatica. I landed on my butt, and it was not that far of a fall. Just saying.

I guess I never thought about that. I don't know if they have anyone to talk to now that it's a weekend but I can check or should I just wait until Monday?

I will give you my opinion being a Registered Nurse.  I would not go to the drs either.  As long as you caught yourself with your hand and your knee and didn't land anywhere near your belly you should be fine.  The baby is very well protected inside there.  Thats just my opinion.  I have fallen 2 times since being preggo...once down  the stairs, but caught myself with my knees and hands and once from a chair onto my bum.  But I wish you the best of luck my dear.
