What happened to my easy going baby?

Harmony just turned 7 months. She has been such a good happy easy going baby and such a joy. Well recently she got sick, runny nose, little stuffy but not too bad and diareeha. So she was pretty fussy during this illness, which is understandable. She'd wake up more at night and it was harder to get her to go back to sleep. Well, then she started a fever so I took her in and she's on antibiotics for an ear infection. She's been on antibiotics since Saturday. They give her a little bit of diareeha too and last time they gave her a bad yeasty diaper rash. Well so far, no rash, but she is so hard to please. I have to hold her 90% of my day, no joke, and much of that time she still isn't happy. She will let my husband hold her for about 5-10 minutes before she freaks out and wants me. I will put her on the floor to play with her toys, no, she wants me. These things she loved to do before and would be content for quite some time. She used to sleep from 7-7 at night, now she's waking up at least 3 times and we end up putting her in bed with us and she's still not happy. She's not running a fever anymore and I check for teeth daily and don't find any. I really am frustrated and don't know what is wrong. Do you think something is wrong or is she just learning how to play me? Sometimes I think she doesn't feel good and then other times I think she's just pushing limits to see what she can get me to do. Sorry for the rant, it's just really frustrating. To top it all off, I have cellulitis in my leg and my other daughter just had her tonsils out on Monday, so this is really super stressful for me at this moment. Any advice or ideas would be great. Thanks!

Are you giving her anything for the pain of the ear infection?  I think at 6 months, you can move up to Infant Advil, but please double check that.  Anyways, went through 4 back to back ear infections.  The antibotics cleared stuff up, but there was still pain and pressure that LO was working through.  It made a world of difference for everyone in my house!

Teeth can also be on their way, but you may not see them or feel them, but LO does :)

Amelia went though the same thing about 3 weeks ago, just after she turned 7 months. It lasted about 2 weeks and now she is back to sleeping in her crib from 7:30p - at least 5am. She usually wakes up because she is soaked. Once I change her and put her back to sleep she is usually goot until 6:30 - 7am.

Hang in there hun! I hope it gets better very soon

No real advice, but if it's any comfort, Sage goes through this every now and then.  Right now she's doing this "cute" new thing where she used to sleep from 9-9:30 everyday.  Now she wakes up at 6:30 and will not go back to sleep.  and last night she would not fall asleep and screamed her head off.  She is extremely easy going but I think they all go through their phases.  Does she have any diaper rash?  Sage gets mega grumpy when she even has a little bit of a rash.  And when in doubt, give her some Tylenol, she might be teething and you may not know it.  Good luck momma!
