Previous premies

My first son (born pre-RNY) was 37 weeks and 4lbs, my 2nd son was born (pre-RNY) and was 34 weeks weighing 3lbs 4oz. I just got out of the hospital this morning, 32 weeks, and having issues with low fluid levels and PIH (Pregnancy induced hypertension) and he is measuring low, 12% at 3lbs 9oz. They were about to deliver, but I was lucky enough to be sent home on bed rest and monitoring twice a week. I go back Monday. They will most likely deliver soon. I am confident that I am far enough along that my son will be healthy. Both of my sons came home fairly quick. My first son came home with me on day 2 and my 2nd son stayed 10 days and came home weighing only 3lbs 9oz. After 32 weeks I am quite confident they will be healthy but small and I have a lot of faith in the NICU staff at the hospitals I have seen. They do an awesome job. 5lbs is a decent size. If your baby is 5lbs they have a high chance of doing well , after 32 weeks the lungs are fully mature. Did they give you steriod shots? I had mine already... they burn but well worth it for my baby's health. I had one Wednesday and the 2nd round yesterday.
