Intro and Hi!
Hi, all...
I've been lurking over the past week and decided it's time to say hi formally.
My name is Laurie, I'm married to my best friend, Jeff, for the past 10 years. I had VSG just about a year ago and have recently gotten the blessing from my surgeon for us to start trying to get pregnant. I'm so excited, since we tried for over 7 years pre surgery, including multiple rounds of fertility treatment to no avail. My surgeon seems to think we'll be, "pleasantly surprised" this time around and that things will go well. I so hope so.
We've decided to just have fun for the next several months and if we're not pregnant by June go back to the specialists. I'm going to be 38 in a month, so we're really hoping to conceive by the end of the year at the latest. No pressure...*hehe*
So, hi! I see you have TTC lists and I'll be hanging out checking things out on here.
Any initial advice? I'm a bit scared but excited and can't wait to get the BFP we've been waiting for forever!

Hi Laurie and welcome to the board!! Just wanted to wish you the best of luck and send baby dust your way for your TTC journey. Hopefully, it doesn't take long and you'll be moved to the Baking Mama List :) The ladies here are terrific at answering any questions you might have and never feel like any question is a "stupid" question.
