Ultrasound Help
I was told just have good fluid so there's enough around the baby for good movement and space for viewing. I just drank 16 oz of crystal light fruit punch 1 hour before every sonogram I had and she had great movement and fluid around her. One time she wasn't moving a lot at my 3d ultrasound and I ate 3 mcnuggets and she was all acrobatic then.. Lol.. Sometimes eating M&M gets her moving too. So good fluid and whatever it is you eat and or drink that gets baby moving. Good luck sweetie!

Chelle,
I really do not ever respond to things like this unless I take great issue. But, did you really just suggest SF Red Bull to a pregnany person?
I am shocked you would think this a good idea! I could site a million websites and quote a million studies that all point in the same direction. Red Bull, SF or not, are not healthy or safe for anyone, let alone a fetus. That was a totally irresponsible reccomendation. I hope to God she doesn't follow this advice.

Here is some info I copied from a nutrion site, for a sugar free Red Bull. It has the same amount of caffiene as 1 cup of coffee, 3 essential B vitamins, and only 3 carbs. It is no worse than drinking a can of diet soda or a coffee. Not recommended on a daily use, of course but ok in a pinch. I think most people are under the impression the a red bull is loaded with caffiene but it's not true. It is the combination of B vitamins that are supposed to give an energy burst.

To each his or her own, I suppose. No amount of studies or nutritional facts would influence me to think that something that is linked to heart attacks, extreme increased blood flow, and a miriad of other health concers in adults would be acceptable or not harmful for a fetus. But, again, we all make our own choices.
I just read your post and hope your US goes really well today! Drinking something cold will have the same effects as something sugary or caffinated. I do well with light OJ, because it has a minor amount of sugar. However, please, please ... do not drink a sugar free red bull. That would be unsafe for you without being pregnant, much less safe for a tiny fetus.
