Ok this question is not for me but....

I am thoroughly confused & am pretty sure I am NOT getting the whole story here...DH's daughter is supposedly having some issues; last month, went to her annual GYN visit & comes home telling this story about how she "passed out" when they come in & tell her that her urine test said she was pg. Then her story further says they "mixed up" her results with someone elses & ordered a blood test which was negative. Now she is a very dramatic over the top person in general so I was concerned about any non-professional things that might have happened during her appt. If what she said was true, I certainly would have been more than hot! But nothing else was said; other than the blood test was negative & that was that. Now don't get me started over the entire lack of responsibility & BC hello...have you heard of birth control? Ugghh! But we all know, things happen...so now she is complaining to her dad...she is having pains, issues, etc. I don't know what all is wrong with her. SO they go off to the dr where apparently, low & behold her urine test is POSITIVE>>>here we go again, what the heck! So they have ordered a blood test & now dad has stepped in & has talked to this dr (difft dr;s office then last month) to see what is going on. THey are also ordering ultrasound to be certain. I am wondering if it is possible that she is having a miscarriage or something else is going on. I don't know how to help if I dont have all the facts...what do you gals think?

how old is she? sounds like shes lying about the blood test.

Not sure if this helps but my best friend has had several + urine tests...but she wasn't pregnant. She had a cyst that was causing the + urine test but her blood tests were negative. Just thought I would share. Weird stuff happens. Best of luck with your stepdaughter!!
