Well, this is my last week of wor****il mid-April, so that's exciting! My baby girl will be full term (37 weeks) in 5 days... which also happens to be the same day as my baby shower. My work is also having a little luncheon/shower for me, which is really sweet.

I have my 37-week appointment on Thursday, at which point my OB will check my cervix and see if anything has changed. This will be my first cervical exam since being pregnant, so I'm not quite sure what to expect.

On a sad/worrisome note, it looks like my husband might lose his job. Nice freaking timing, right? They said they'll "let him know" so in the meantime, we're both unnecessarily stressing out over it. I pray to GOD that he gets to keep it because we really need his income. I just feel like if they were going to terminate him, that they should have just done it already instead of making him worry. Sigh.

 I'm sorry you are having to go through all this in your last weeks of pregnancy. I will pray that your hubby doesn't loose his job. As far as the cervical check, it's uncomfortable and hurts a little but it only last a sec or 2. Take some tylenol before you go. You may bleed or feel crampy after. Are your bags packed? Good luck :)
