Unplanned pregnancy

I am 34 and the OB didn't say anything about being high risk with this pregnancy.. However, I am looking for a new OB because the old one just didn't seem interested and made me feel like I was taking up his time.. I feel like I may be high risk for other issues but not just because I have had wls.. My apt is tomorrow with the new doc... I am really excited because I have heard nothing but good things about him.

I have recently started feeling the baby move also I had an ultrasound last wkend to determine the sex.. Within the last week or so I have been accepting it more and more.. It takes time trust me... I still didn't want/plan on this baby... but there has to be a reason I got prego... Maybe this baby/person will do something great for the human race LOL.... so I would like to think anyway.... (thats me trying to keep my sense of humor)  OK.. off to bed with me now...

I am so glad I read your post. I will know in a week if I am pregnant and I am terrified. 2 positive urine tests, 2 negative urine tests and a border line blood test. I am 2 yrs 5 month post R & Y and have lost over 209lbs. I am also 42 and was told I shouldnt and really couldnt get pregnant as I also has thermo ablasion about 1.5 years ago. I have a 10 year old son and would love another child but all the possible complications due to my age and R&Y surgery I dont know how to feel.

 Kori,  I really hope everything good comes your way where this is concerned.  I certainly don't have as many complications but I totally understand where you are.
