exercise
Just wondering if anyone exercises on a daily basis? Before conceiving I was at the gym daily, did a minimum of 45 mins cardio per day. Well needless to say I had a horrible first trimester and stopped going due to feeling nauseas, extremely exhausted and emotional. About three weeks ago I started back up again but this time doing 30 mins of cardio per day. But it feels like its so much harder for me to do that 30 minutes, than it was for me to do 45 pre preggo. Is this normal ? Does anyone else feel that exercise is much harder being preggo? This will be my second munchkin, but with my first pregnancy I never exercised. Thanks in advance!!
I had started a combat fitness class about 5 mon ths prior to getting pregnant and we do 45 minutes of cardio, core training...then we do 1/2 hour of martial arts. I was told by my OBGYN that as long as I was doing it prior..I was ok..I also have to be sure my heart rate doesnt' go to high. I am now 7 months and still do it 2 times a week...I am finding as I get bigger (although I am really not too big and have only gained 10 lbs) it is getting more difficult.

It is going to be harder! I noticed a real difference as well. I did a lot of water aerobics during pregnancy, that seemed to be the thing that just worked best for me.

Also, be sure to have your iron checked. I noticed more shortness of breathe while exercising and then found out I was quite anemic. Being low on iron will make it feel MUCH more difficult to exercise.
