You're probably right! I just wish they wouldn't arm us with information that isn't necessarily relevant. I just wish they would have said nothing about his femur length and I wouldn't be worrying. It's just so hard not to sometimes and it's so frustrating when my dr has shared such little info with me throughout this pregnancy and now they want to share something that may just be an incorrect measurement or nothing to worry about!!! If I had only known before now, I swear I would have picked a different doctor!

Those scans can be WAY off. They induced me on my due date because they thought my daughter was going to be over 9lbs, but she was only 8lbs 1oz. You could go to a different U/S tech tomorrow and get totally different measurments. I am surprised they would even consider moving your due date. I measured ahead by a lot at every scan, but they refused to change my due date because they said babis are just all different. I am sure everything is great.

P.S. My little girl is long, but her legs are on the shorter side. She's built like daddy with a long torso and shorter legs.

Tina,

I'm a shorter person, but I never thought about that...my husband's tall, but he's def got a longer torso as well. I was shocked they had moved my due dates around too- in fact I didn't even know they did besides getting my paperwork from the office before I went traveling 2 weeks ago. I'm going to try not to worry about it as much as I can and just wait for his arrival. They did the growth ultrasound because my fundal was measuring big and I really wish they hadn't or had just kept the info from the scan yesterday to themselves...why get me worried when I really should just relax..I'm sure in time after he is born we will know if there is anything remotely wrong or off. Thanks for sharing- it helps so much to hear it from others somehow!

Thanks again...Kerri

The more children one has, the more likely they take what the Ultrasound said with a grain of salt. I turned down the scan at 12 weeks because I know how more times than naught they come back as false positives!
