Mucus plug???

I lost my mucus plug this morning. I know TMI, but I have some questions??? I had no bloody show. Should u always have a bloody show when it comes out? How much is suppose to actually come out (just wondering if I should expect more) because a thought quite a bit came out already. I would say about the size of a large marble. How long did it take before yours came out that your labor started? Also on a another subject I have been leaking a creamy liquid from both of my nipples for about 3 weeks now. If I press (not that hard) on my nipple some will actually squirt out! Is this normal before baby is actually born? I thought this only happened after delivery??? Thanks for any advice or information ladies!

I am not sure about the mucus plug, I don't remember losing mine with my daughter (it was also 12 years ago, so I don't remember) but I do remember leaking like that before she was even born.  Totally normal.

Leaking is totally normal.

No bloody show is also normal and just because you lost your mucus plug doesn't mean labor is going to start right away, it can still be weeks before labor starts and/or part of the mucus plug can grow back. Fun, right? There are no quick and easy answers when it comes to pregnancy. ^_^

I don't know much about the mucus plug except that it doesn't always mean labor is eminent. The boob thing though.... that I can comment on. With my first son, my boobs leaked that stuff starting around 6 months... this time it was 4 months when it started. It's completely normal... just your boobs getting ready for that baby. Gross, but atleast they are working. :)

This was my first pregnancy (and last)...my breasts started leaking around 20 weeks!! Shock to me! And if I pressed on them, even more would come. I really was surprised. I thought with my size A cups, I wouldn't have anything anyways, let alone that darn early. Yuck!

As far as mucus plug--I had contractions before my mucus plug came out. I had contractions that I actually felt for close to an hour before it fell out. And it was about the size of a large marble. My son was born about 3 hours later. I think everyone is different with that kind of thing.

When I was 16 weeks pregnant and went potty and wiped (tmi sorry), i had been losing my mucus for a day already and didn't know it, they said it meant I was dilating.  I ended up having a miscarriage but I asked the dr then if that was normal, he said "you generally lose it all at once and then labor is in the VERY near future." So... and as far as the leakage goes... well, i am 15 weeks with this pregnancy and I started leaking already, so I freaked out thinking something was wrong, the RN said that its just the hormones taking charge and its totally normal. She said it means I will be a good pumper. You sound like you are on the right track, but if you are still concerned, go to the drs office or your hospital. I would rather be safe then sorry...
