Onto the 4th month of TTC! wth!?

 AF came again about a week ago... this next cycle will mark 4 months of TTC baby #3--- also, this is now officially the longest it has taken for me to get pregnant! I know 4 months isn't that long at all... but it seemed like it happened just about instantly with my other 2 kids, so I guess I've been spoiled a bit! 
I am having some blood tests done this cycle to make sure my post-WLS hormone levels are OK (I'm 2.5 yrs post-DS)... last month I had a 13-day-long AF and I've had a lot of cramping and heavier bleeding the last several AFs, not really sure why. 
My OB talked about giving me progesterone if needed to "reset" my cycle... anyone else done that?
We are still awaiting my blood test results to see what my hormones are doing... I had a blood draw on CD 3 and need to get another blood draw on CD 21... we shall see!
Still bleeding a little and it's day 8 of my AF.... getting very sick of all this stuff. Wish I was pregnant already and I could get a break from seemingly always having cramps or my damn period!!!

so sorry you are going thru this...yes I did two cycles of progesterone and it helped me to concieve in a very short time... I had my IUD removed in May to start TTC.  I thought I would get preggo in the first month of trying bc I have always been crazy fertile...well by AUgust I still didnt get a menses, they gave me one cycle of progesterone and I was currently in the middle of taking my second cycle of it when I got a BFP!  I am now 18 weeks along!~  good luck to you.

Sorry to hear abt AF :-(  I've had progesterone before.  It was pre-op when I wasn't ovulating or having periods.  My OB had me on a standing script of it for a couple yrs before my WLS.  But now that I've dropped 130 lbs, i'm regular like Big Ben and I was able to concieve on the 1st try in Nov (but had a MC.)  So I'm not worried about it when we try again in a couple of months.

 Thanks for the support guys! It's frustrating that I had a totally predictable cycle and  was able to get pregnant in 1-3 months when I was 250 lbs, but now that I am only 150 lbs, my cycle is wacky and I'm about to start my 4th month of TTC! 
I have plenty of friends and family members that had to TTC for 6mos-1yr to get pregnant so I realize that 4 months isn't really that long to TTC, it's more the crazy periods & cramps that are driving me nuts... I don't want to deal with this until I'm menopausal!!! 

No advice, just want to say I'm sorry you're getting frustrated and hope you get a BFP soon!
