I feel like I'm STARVING!!!! UGH!
So I have lost over 250lbs had some gain back am at 259lbs right now with this pregnancy anyway I've been trying to cut down on how much I eat through out the day...I try to stick to healthy foods but realistically I go for what's cheap (apples, pears in a cup, tamales, salad, eggs, sometimes ramen noodles, tuna, ect)
Anyway tonight I feel like I'm STARVING darn it! Should I eat or should I try and just deal with it?

Oooh popcorn! hahaha! Thanks that's an idea..not too many calories and not too salty....I had myself on a set schedule of every two to three hours eating very small snacks/meals but I'm 6 years out of RNY and the farther along in the pregnancy I get the darn hungrier I'm becoming!
Anyway thanks for the idea of popcorn (though I know it wasn't meant as a suggestion hahaha)

I would say eat something. ive noticed the further along i get in the pregnancy the more i can eat and i eat more often. the size of my meals are still my small rny meals but my baby seems to still all my food for herself so that means not much is sticking to me. so if your hungry more often baby may be stealing your food so go ahead and eat a snack or something.

Just eat girlfriend, it truly isn't the time to go and hold off from food if that's what your feeling.
Your food seems pretty healthy compared to what I'm eating lately x -
Also, enjoy it, don't go feeling guilty, now is not the time for us to be worrying about our weight. Although, I fully understand that it goes through our minds due to our past weight and surgeries.

I have faced this bridge so many times and I've found that if I decide to make healthier food choices that the scale tends to stay the same. I tell ya my newest staple in this pregnancy is Multi-grain Cheerios LOL I can't seem to get enough of them throughout the day. I used to snack on popcorn til my dr recommended the Cheerios. Once I tried them I was hooked! They're full of good grains and stuff and are considered a better carb then some of the other choices we could make, There are days I feel like I could eat everything in site myself. I've also had some regain prior to getting pregnant. I started at 289, lost down to around 135-140 and when I got preggo I was at 185 (I had just done the South Beach diet too and lost almost 25 lbs, so that 200 mark was back upon me as much as I liked to deny it!) So far I've managed to keep my gain down to 20-22lbs so far and I've decided the number on the scale is no longer worth fretting over. I need to worry about getting in the right foods and keeping myself and baby helathy...the scale and I will have our showdown after baby arrives. Thankfully I've had pretty good drs who haven't been very critical of my weight! Hang in there and as long as you're making healthier decisions you should be ok...best of luck girl! :)
Check with your doc about hypoglycemia too...I am entering my second tri and will be being tested for this same thing...I am CONSTANTLY STARVING!!! Seriously, its almost a ravenous feeling and then I eat a few bites and too full to think...lol...plus if I don't eat a protein something (cheese, boiled egg, summer sausage, yes I went there) every two hours I get very woozy...but its the ravenous feeling with almost no weight gain that got my doc wondering b/c of the WLS...You sound like you have a healthy handle on things, just follow your body cues and try to keep things simple...Good luck and CONRATS!!!
