This is the year!!!

I am so excited that 2011 is here at last!  I am due to graduate with my master's degree in May and then ready to begin "project baby" in June.  I can't believe it!

I am currently on Nuvaring, but have an appt. next week with Ob-gyn to discuss when I need to stop using the ring so that I can hopefully get preg. right away and also check my blood levels and see if I need to add any vitamins and stuff while getting my body ready.

Any questions I should ask?  I'll be 3 years out of my RNY when I start trying.

I was on the Nuvaring and got pregnant 2 weeks after taking it out.  I know quite a few individuals that have gotten pregnant on the nuvaring or immediately after taking it out.  It definitely isn't like the depo shot or a pill that can stay in your system for quite a while.

That's good news!  I hope my doc tells me that too, since I'm not  a fan of condoms and this method has worked well for us so far.  This way I can stay on it until graduation.

I added folic acid and iron along with taking prenatals before getting pregnant. Best to start now Congrats on your schooling that is awesome! Good luck!!
