Low sperm count... :(

We just found out that my husband has a low sperm count. Not sure how low yet, but needless to say I am devastated and angry. I am just wondering if we have any hope of having kids naturally? Please tell me all is not lost. Having children was the only reason I wanted this surgery....

L-Carnitine is an esential fatty acid that helps this. You can buy it online or in the pharmacies, My husband takes 3000mlg a day. I believe the recommended dose for low sperm count is 3000-5000 daily. It helps the count, motility and quality of the sperm. It's also the main ingredient in Fertilaid & Fertilityblend (but it is cheaper and stronger to just buy it separate). You can google L-Carnitine online and read about it. Good luck!

My husband has a low sperm count... I think normal is like 40-150 million sperm per ml. His was 15 million. We still got pregnant the first time we tried.

My husband has been told that he has low count, like you i'm not sure how low but we got pregnant the first time we tried as well...all it really takes is one! Good luck!!

I am pregnant with my "surprise" #2...my husband has a low sperm count, infact they told him after his Hodgkins cancer years ago he would never have a child. We wwent through fertility..IUI's along with a triggere shot for my daughter who will be 7 in april...mostly I think due to my PCOS...I last 160lbs the last 2 yearas from RNY and low and behold..founf out I was pregnant in july...so I am walking proof...low pserm count..nonsense!!! Hey Channel,  sorry to hear that.  Like everyone else has said, don't give up.  My best friend and his wife went through a similar situation.  They now have 2 beautiful kids.  When they told me they were trying, I  brought them an ovulation predictor kit.  They were sucessful after a couple of months.  You can find them cheap on ebay. 

dont be sad even with a low sperm count you will still be able to have a baby like the previous posters have said just keep hope alive. by the way congraats on the weight loss.
