Dr Appt Today
I had my 15 wk appt today and the baby is doing excellent...heart rate in the high 140's...got my labs drawn to check on my vits...asked a bunch of ??'s since it's been 8 years that I've been pregnant and was happy to find out that the stay for a c-section is now 2 days instead of the 4 I had to stay back in 2002 with my daughter...I also told my doc that I was hoping to have my anatomy scan/ultrasound in 2 1/2 wks when I'll be 18 wks cause I am so anxious to find out the sex of the baby and she right away said that would be just fine and because I was no longer "a fluffy girl" anymore, it would be fine for me to have the ultrasound at 18wks..she said the "fluffier" women have to wait until they're at least 20 wks to have an ultrasound/anatomy scan..so thank goodness I'm no longer "fluffy" LOL!
I CANNOT wait to find out...praying the baby cooperates!!

It sounds like everything is going great! I'm so happy for you...from one Army wife to another :) I was so eager too to find out the sex, so I'm crossing fingers and eyes that the baby cooperates..LOL... I too have to have another/repeat Csection (scheduled 02/25/11), so it's good to hear I don't have to stay that miserable 4 days I'm hoping...2 days sound much better. That fluffier comment is too funny. Well keep us posted sweetie and enjoy your pregnancy sweetie.

Thanks so much Gina! I can't believe how far along you are already...seems like yesterday when I saw your first post about being preggo..YAY for you girlie!!
I thought that fluffy comment was funny too...would have offended me in my fluffier days though, LOL!!
And 2 days for c-section is really great compared to 4, thank goodness that has changed!!

Cute- fluffy. Though if I was called fluffy I probably would not have thought it was funny. Glad to hear everything is going normal. Hope you are able to find out....I know I had to wait until 22 weeks because baby wouldn't show off- I think I had 3 or 4 anatomy scans because she was so stubborn. Anyways- lots of rules changed recently in my hospital between 08 and 09 they changed how long you had to stay and when you were allowed up and walking with cath removed. Unfortunately because of extreme nausea / vomiting it didn't matter they wouldn't let me out of bed or take my cath out. But...its nice for other c-section mommies.
See, I am 117 pounds lighter than my last pregnancy, and my OB still insists on reminding me how overweight I am. He does it in a way that doesn't offend me, just annoys me. I am glad yours made you feel good! You deserve to! I am excited that you get to know at 18 weeks, my insurance won't pay for anatomy scan until 19 weeks, and my next appt is at 19 so won't have any opportunity to pee****il then.
