Just wondering if you felt like your sleeve shrank early on?  I know it will feel like it much later but I swear I suddenly can't eat as much now.  But then I'm sorta hungry faster too, not that I get truly hungry that often.

Did anyone else feel like that?  Also, did you have m/s?  Still none for me yet.

Im not a sleever, but I couldn't resist replying because I know exactly what you mean! I had Rny almost 2 years ago, and still couldn't eat alot but it seems like after a bite or two now i'm full, but then i'm hungry again within 30 mins...so i'm CONSTANTLY eating! I keep raw almonds around and Triscuts so that i'm not just hogging out on junk but it's getting annoying already! I haven't had any m/s but i get nauseous if I eat sugar at all...I'm sure this will all get worse...when we get bigger bellies but no, your not aloe!

I felt like it shrank really fast--but I also had terrible all-day sickness.  Unfortunately, I miscarried at 8 weeks so I cannot share any information beyond that point but hopefully we'll be pregnant again sometime this year.

After the m/c, I felt like my sleeve went back to normal and actually "larger" than normal size for a while but I was probably over-compensating for hardly being able to eat anything for a while.

Best of luck to you and remember to eat often and keep up on the carbs!

I'm sorry for your loss.  I hope your rainbow comes soon!

Ok, glad I'm not crazy.  It's worse with pasta/rice (I go from ok to overfull puking with no warning) but all foods do it.  I have no choice but to eat often.  As quickly as I get full, I'm hungry and snacking again! lol

Eating some spaghetti with meat sauce and parmesan cheese as we speak :)

That's funny---the one thing that all of a sudden went down easily for me was spaghetti with butter and parmesan---before the pregnancy, I couldn't eat it at all!  So bizarre!  I really wasn't pregnant long enough to figure it all out but there never seemed to be a method to the maddness!

I've always had issues (post op) with pasta/rice.  They have to be overcooked and I have to eat pretty slow so that the swelling can happen before I eat too much or insta-puke.  It's happening WAY faster now though.  It's sad as I rarely have pasta anymore (not a bad thing I guess but it was my fave food preop!).

Hmm...I don't remember feeling like it was smaller, but I did get morning sickness from 5w-10w when I didn't want to eat ANYTHING!  Of course, I did but I wasn't happy about it.  I did end up losing 11 lbs in the first tri and I'm still down 10lbs (after gaining and losing again).  In the past two weeks, I have felt my sleeve smaller.  My OB isn't too concerned about the weight gain/loss because I'm measuring good (actually a week ahead) and my 20w ultrasound was good.  She is having me do another u/s for growth at 35 weeks.   Anyway, pregnancy with the sleeve has been challenging - I graze all the time to get the calories in!

I started at 324lbs and a size 26.  After losing 100 lbs, I became pregnant with my first daughter, who was born in March 2011.  My second daughter was born in September 2013.  I have maintained a healthy lifestyle and now hover around 160lbs.  I would like to get back to the 140lbs before I became pregnant with my second daughter.  The sleeve literally gave me LIFE - two beautiful, healthy little girls.  My husband had his VSG with Dr. Marema on 10/1/2012 and is on his weight loss journey, currently down 90lbs.

M/S hasn't kicked in yet, just major fatigue.  I said to Hollywog today I'd happily trade right now! lol  Losing weight wouldn't be bad, I've been big time slacking on exercise and I'm up over 10 lbs from Oct-Jan.  Not cool.  Was going to reboot come the New Year but da baby had other plans! lol  I would like to start exercising and maybe drop a bit (I'm at almost 150 right now from an all time low of 135) but no energy.

Is this your first child?  If not, are you finding m/s better/worse/same?
