This is just irritating me!!! Just gotta vent!

We always just used blankets on top for our babies in cold weather that way we can remove them or keep them over the kids till they got warm and no sweating. love new moms sometimes

Oh, man ... that poor girl! Time will take care of her ... in about four weeks (IF it takes even THAT long!) she is going to feel like the biggest idiot on the planet because being a new mom can make you question how you made it this far alive SO STUPID! Ha! Lydia made me eat a big piece of humble pie, and I have Child Education and Development degrees for goodness sake! :-) Good for you for holding your tongue. I thought for sure my first kiddo would be born in the shape of peach pie with a peanut butter sandwich for a head ... this one will probably resemble a box of Special K. :-)

UGH! I have a friend that acts the same way...makes me want to slap her!

I wouldn't say anything to your friend...but maybe buy her a parenting book or something and leave it at that.  I would point out safety issues (like the snow suit) so that that seed is planted in her head and has time to grow (hopefully) before the baby gets here (keeping in mind she may totally disregard what you say...and you'll have to accept that).  The rest of her parenting plan will fly out the window once the baby's here and she sees the little person she has to work around....'cause the baby may have a totally different plan than mommy does.

Yeah I hear ya! My Very nosy neighbor said something about my parenting, and I yelled at her. I said how dare you.... Have you found the "RIGHT" book on parenting or something and I did not know it existed? She is in her 60's and thinks she knows it all too! haha

If it is not the new ones, it is the old ones! I love those just the same. I actually asked her if she remembers having little ones, or if they just popped up as older one day!
