We tried for 7 months and nothing till we used Pre-seed. Don't know if that was something you have tried, but it worked for us. GL

Do you know if you are ovulating?  You can go to fertilityfriend.com and it will show you how to check your temperatures to see if you are ovulating.  Very easy to do, and only cost is the one time cost of a basal body thermometer  (roughly 10$).  We tried for 8 years so I understand.  I started tracking my temperatures in Jan of last year (after 7 yrs of trying and my OB not willing to help b/c I was still overweight).  I realized I was not ovulating.  Went and saw another OB on May 19 of this yr who put me on Clomid to make me ovulate, hubby had good sperm count, but low testosterone so he started with Androgel last wk of July.  Found out I was pregnant on Sep 22.  Long rant I know but the take away messages are these:  1.  Hang in there.....finding out the problem is the first step.  2.  Start tracking your temperature so your MD can have more infomation when you go.  The new OB I went to in May told me I saved a good 6 months of work just by having that info available for him already. 3.  Never give up hope........after so long, we weren't sure it would happen.

Sorry so long, and hope its not too confusing!  Good luck!

You can get a sperm workup of your husband done. They check the count, motility, quality, ect. If you find out the count is on the lower side, have him take L-Carnitine. It is an essential fatty acid that helps these issues. You can buy it online or find it in the drugstores. My husband is taking 3000 mlg daily (at my insisting to speed things along).
Have you tried the ovulation predictor sticks? They are expensive, but will pinpoint your best days to get preggo. I wasted hundreds of dollars on these things, until I went on Amazon and found a kit of Wondfo 40 OPK strips and 10 pregnancy tests for $10.00. They are hospital grade, you just have to pee in a cup and stick the strip in for a few seconds. Peeing on sticks can become addictive when you are waiting for 2 lines, so save money whenever possible on these things.
Good luck!!

Hi,

The first thing you should do is check your insurance plan and see if it will cover a Reproductive Endocrinologist (fertility specialist).  If not ask  your obgyn to order up all the tests for you.   You want to rule out any problems with your dh's counts and make sure all your parts are doing their job.  I don't know how old you are but that biological clock just keeps ticking.  I kept trying and trying...I turned 35, and it still wasn't happening and kept hearing.. just keep trying,. relax.. it will happen.. well Thank God I checked with an RE becasue we found issues with me on why it was not happening.

I just started an IVF cycle and am praying for my BFP..

Don't give up.. modern medicine has come so far that there IS hope!!!!!!  Good Luck Amber!!
