I don't have any experience with this.  But, I can honestly say since I was pregnant I can eat WAY more than I used to prior to pregnancy.  I got down to 140lbs which is 20 below dr's goal and I'm now 173 or so which is around 10-15 above goal.  I'm wondering if I have ruined my tool also.  Maybe I need to get this check out.  I never feel full anymore.

hi jenn im am going thru the same thing now, look at my examples

in 2006 i had wls i weighed 275lbs
after i had my daughter i weighed 145lbs in 7/2008
today in 2011 a year after the birth of my twins i am 207lbs and im 5'3

i gained 62lbs since 7/08  and i am also NEVER FULL

SO i went to see another surgeon because my original surgeon doesnt preform wls anymore and I asked about lapband!!

he requested a barium swallow and it showed my "pouch"  stetched out 4x larger than what it should be!!!   so he wants  to re-do my rny, however im not 100lbs overweight and have no comorbities so i hope i can have this surgery done.

i speak for myself in saying i am ashamed that i screwed up this tool thinking i can never gain my weight back, i dont make the best food choices but regardless i always ate the same with n without surgery its just the fullness feeling i need back.  and i dislike when my family just tells me go on a diet and watch what i eat!!  if it was that easy for me i wouldnt have had wls!!!

sorry to vent but i can relate 100% to this.  if you ever want to chat im on fb my email is [email protected]
