Quintyn Chance is here

Quintyn was born at 237am tuesday december 28. Had my biophysical done and then was admitted right away to the hospital to induce labor.

He weighed 5lbs 15.8oz
19.5 inches

I will tell you about his birth in a couple of days.

December 28, at 6pm, Quintyn was being released to be life flighted to Des Moines to Mercy Medical Center NICU. He had no platelets and what he did have, if he started to bleed etc he could die. Cause? Unknown as to what is wrong.

1230am weds dec 29, he arrived at the hospital and we have been there since. 22hrs old i have only gotten to hold by that time a total of 3x's for a total of 20minutes added up together...

All this started with him having a "low blood sugar" at birth. Something that isnt rare, to something that is rare that is wrong with him. DO NOT KNOW WHAT IT IS!!!

OMG - lots of positive thoughts headed your way!!!

Lots of prayers coming your way.  The NICU is very scary but filled with some of the most amazing caregivers I have ever encountered.  Please take care of yourself while he is there.  Your health is extremely important too.

You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.  He is in good hands there, my cousin works at Mercy :) 

Definitely keeping you & Baby Quintyn in my prayers. Hopefully, they can give you some answers soon. Not knowing is so frustrating. Sending lots of positive thoughts for good news.

I pray the drs find out quickly what's the matter and can fix it.  Take care of yourself also...you need to keep your strength up for your little one.
