I wanna crawl under a rock....

I swear this head cold crap is really kicking my butt!!! I've been on the couch all day yesterday and most of today. We went up north to PA for Christmas and I woke up yesterday morning feeling so icky. I know one thing- I can see why they say try to travel light in your third trimester...that was just about the most uncomfortable I've been in I don't know how long. I'm sorry I'm a complainer today! This is so not like me, but everything's kicking me down right now.

The trip was a good time, but my sister and brother in law were very absent minded in telling my husband and I that they had decided they were returning to Texas with my husband's parents (they were also in PA visiting so we all spent Chrsitmas together) tomorrow to live. My SIL and I have been going crazy talking about all the time we're going to spend together when we move to PA in May after the baby comes. Now, they won't be there and again the girls won't have that family connection with their cousins like we had hoped to give them. I had some sort of emotional breakdown on the 27th at my grandparents' house because I just felt betrayed and I think I'm nervous that our move may not happen like I like it to...seeing as to how my husband was supposed to be getting a job with the same employer his brother works for and now it's a total who knows situation since they're not going to be there anymore. I'm beyond frustrated and hurt by their deceptions- they allowed us to get the girls excited along with their cousins when we broke the news that we were moving up there to them over the Christmas break! All these hormones and this sickness have me sooooo overly emotional right now and I'm trying so hard not to stress.

My growth ultrasound was supposed to be Monday, but they rescheduled me for Wednesday...ugh...I swear it's just everything getting to me right now!

What are you ladies taking to help tackle these colds that are going around?? I tried Tylenol cold yesterday and vicks vapo rub overnight, but it doesn't seem to be letting up...oh well back to that rock (or should i say pillow and blanket) waiting for me on the couch!!! Cold cold go away!!!

Ugh! Sorry you're not feeling well and now have the frustrations with your family.  Rest up and relax.  I hope you feel better soon.

Thank you, Kerri. I'm doing much better. I'm finally feling back to normal after about 10 days of being physically drained. Emotioally I'm doing pretty well. My DW said the most beautiful thing the nigh we found out. She said that if I was carrying our child I would still be pg... that our child hasn't yet come into ours lives. That wasn't our child. She is the sweetest. Dr said we can try again after 2 cycles. So march it is.

I'm so sorry that you are going through this. It's so frustrating that all we want to do is get all our ducks in a row, and it seems like just when we have everything all figured out, someone has to go and muck it up for us. I hope everything works out for the better.

As far as your cold goes... I had the sinus congestion/dry throat thing, as well. I woke up with it on Christmas morning. My OB recommended Robitussin CF Max. It worked WONDERS! I feel about 95% now.

Thanks! And it's beyond frustrating...UGH! I usually never stick up for myself and am a human doormat, but this time around I really put my foot down and let my sister in law know how angry I was. She texted me finally last night, but I replied with a...I'm sick and I don't feel like talking and when I'm ready I have your number...it will definitely be quite a few weeks before I make that call.

I know I'll be een more frustrated if their financial burden causes my mother and father in law not to be able to make it into town when baby comes...

oh well...anywho...I'm going to CVS first thing in the morning and looking for that Robitussin...I've had just about enough of this hoopla!! :) Thanks so much!
